About My Clients
I am offering both virtual and in person sessions to new and current clients. Due to COVID-19, there is a screening for in person sessions. My devotion to help my clients is best demonstrated through my empathy I have with understanding life struggles and ensuring to promote validation. I am known to engage my clients through asking meaningful questions to guide the client in understanding their thought patterns. I encourage journaling, homework assignments and focusing on coping mechanisms.
My Background and Approach
Feelings of self doubt, constant worry or hopelessness can make a person feel stuck. Life can be very unpredictable with the uncertainties. It is okay if you are struggling to be in touch with your emotions and feelings. Therapy can provide a sense of peace in a safe environment where there is an opportunity to better understand any fears, anxiety or stress that are hindering you from reaching your full potential. I am here to guide you in working through the challenges that you are facing and focus on your inner strength to connect the pieces in your life that can help you build a strong foundation for growth and life fulfillment. I encourage self-awareness through a variety of techniques such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness . My area of focus is anxiety, trauma ,PTSD, Infertility and Addiction. I have a Post Masters Certificate in Addiction. I am also an Infertility and Miscarriage Survivor and I specialize in seeing women who are dealing with the path on their fertility journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe that through the challenges that you are facing, it is possible to still have inner strength and motivation that can help you build a strong foundation for growth and life fulfillment. I value family and a person who values their cultural beliefs. Also, I strongly believe that everyone should be treated equally and I stand with the Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ and Women's rights. Also, suicide prevention is very important to me so I strongly always advocate for the importance of understanding mental health and ways that we can help one another when we notice someone is in the darkest points of their lives.
