My Background and Approach
Dr. Jones graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2014 from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and has over 10 years working in the mental health field. Her approach is tailored to the individual needs of the client and includes: CBT, humanism, relational and integrative modalities. She began her career working with survivors of domestic violence and their children. Dr. Jones served as a therapist for foster children who were battling trauma and the effects of placement in several foster homes. From there, Dr. Jones obtained extensive experience helping individuals with mood disorders, psychosis, trauma, anger management concerns, anxiety disorders and individuals with concerning characterological traits. Additionally, Dr. Jones has experience aiding couples resolve relational issues as well as working in academia. She is currently an adjunct professor of Psychology at a local undergraduate college.
