About My Clients

"I help individuals facing trauma, substance use, or life transitions feel safe, heard, and empowered to heal and grow."

My Background and Approach

I am a Master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, graduating in 2026, with over 10 years of experience in healthcare as a Medical Assistant, insurance representative, and patient advocate. My background has given me a strong foundation in patient care, advocacy, and navigating complex systems with empathy and efficiency. Currently, I am deepening my training in counseling with a focus on trauma, substance use, and community-based support. My counseling approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in creating safe, nonjudgmental spaces where clients feel heard and empowered. I believe in blending evidence-based practices with authentic connection, recognizing the resilience each client carries. My long-term goal is to become a licensed professional counselor, open a private practice, and continue building Measured Impact—a social change initiative promoting inclusive workplaces and authentic leadership.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and valued. My personal philosophy centers on authenticity, compassion, and empowerment. I view challenges such as trauma, anxiety, or substance use not as defining labels but as experiences that can be met with resilience and growth. I am passionate about advocating for underserved communities and creating spaces where people feel safe to explore their stories. Beyond counseling, I am the founder of Measured Impact, a social change initiative dedicated to fostering inclusive workplaces and authentic leadership. My interests include exploring the intersections of mental health and social change, supporting personal and professional growth, and building community connections that promote equity and well-being. I also enjoy continuous learning, reflective writing, and spending quality time with family as a way to recharge and stay grounded.
