About My Clients

Feeling on edge or worried about different things? Discouraged? Feeling that you aren't doing enough/you are not enough? Misunderstood by family, friends, co-workers, boss, or teacher? Find yourself avoiding certain situations/people fearing something awful might happen? Stress from caretaking? Maybe, life seems okay - but you feel like something is off and can't quite pinpoint what it is. Let's work together to uncover, learn, and talk about ways for you to begin feeling lighter.

My Background and Approach

Jasmine strongly emphasizes bringing awareness and understanding to her clients through exploring family dynamics, drawing on client strengths and support systems, challenging unhelpful thoughts, offering different perspectives, and aiding her clients in building personal resources to improve their well-being. She incorporates cultural humility into her practice, recognizing the importance of multicultural perspectives and fostering an inclusive approach to therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Jasmine embarked on her own therapy journey in her mid-20s. When she found the right therapist, she began working through issues such as fear, anxiety, depression, and trauma. As she began experiencing relief; she realized how powerful therapy could be. Here is where she developed an interest and love for wanting to help others. - During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, friends, and family, painting/drawing, attending concerts, volunteering, and reading to name a few. Jasmine continues her personal growth through her own therapy. As a lifelong learner, she works toward continuing her professional development through case consultation with her supervisor, workshops, research, and conferences.
