About My Clients
Every person is affected by life in different ways, which could lead to anxiety, depression, disillusionment, and many more side effects. I want to guide people through these struggles by meeting them where they are and helping them get to a healthier, more positive place.
My Background and Approach
My counseling techniques are primarily based on cognitive behavioral therapy, which endeavors to change emotional consequences due to behaviors caused by maladaptive thoughts. However, I will be the first to admit when we need to try something different. I am open to integrating any theory or technique that will benefit you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a late-diagnosed autistic individual, I understand the experience of not feeling like you fit in. Therefore, I focus my counseling on helping neurodivergent individuals better understand themselves. This also applies to the LGBTQ+ community which I endevor to support and welcome in my practice. My goal is to help these individuals realize that they don't need to change to find their place, but rather, to use their unique qualities to flourish.
