About My Clients
My clients tend to feel overwhelmed by worry, panic, or the pressure to keep everything under control. They may struggle with intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, social fears, or anxiety related to ADHD, and these challenges interfere with daily life or family relationships. They are motivated to understand their mind, reduce distress, and build practical tools. They want a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they are heard, understood, and guided toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
The tools I’ll provide you with are tools I’ve refined over years of helping people just like you manage anxiety, OCD, ADHD-related challenges, and family stress connected to worry or panic. I have a variety of strategies, and my goal is for you to leave with at least five techniques you can carry with you at all times—discreet exercises you can use anywhere to quickly reduce distress. I take a direct, solution-focused approach and work collaboratively with you to address the anxiety, panic, or intrusive thoughts that are affecting you right now. We’ll start with what’s happening in the moment and learn ways to gain control over your body, mind, and reactions. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT, ERP, and Motivational Interviewing, we’ll explore what’s happening in your brain and body during fear or anxiety and develop practical ways to respond differently. Over time, you’ll build resilience, so distressing thoughts and behaviors have less power and your life feels more balanced.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and change, no matter where they are in life. Mental health challenges like anxiety, panic, OCD, or ADHD-related struggles often develop from learned patterns that no longer serve us—but that also means they can be unlearned and replaced with healthier ways of coping. I aim to help clients build practical tools and strategies to understand their mind, reduce distress, and regain a sense of control. I believe in creating a space where everyone feels accepted and respected, regardless of identity or background, and I actively support inclusion and equity in my community. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, collaboration, and individualized plans designed to help clients move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
