About My Clients
Currently accepting new clients via teletherapy. I want to share with you that I have the experience of being a client in therapy. I understand that it can feel awkward or uncomfortable to share personal things with someone you don't know. I also know that for some of you, it will feel like a relief. Whether you feel ambivalent about being in therapy or all in, that's okay with me. I can meet you and get to know you in your darkest places.
My Background and Approach
My Background & My Work After a career as a juvenile probation officer, I earned a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I completed my licensure after two years of working in court-mandated in-home family therapy. I want to know about your family history. Our family system shapes our beliefs about ourselves and the world and how we do (or don’t) take care of ourselves. Our family is the first model for our relationships. My focus is on understanding how your history plays out in your life today. This awareness can lead you to a more fulfilling life.
