About My Clients
My main clinical modalities are Holistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Structural therapy, and Family Systems. I bring a unique background having lived and worked in a diversity of places throughout the world and have practiced professionally in both Europe and the United States.
My Background and Approach
I was born and raised in Spain where I learned the value of relationships as an intrinsic part of my culture. I gained my Associates degree in Psychology from Ricks College, my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from BYU-Hawaii, and my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from BYU-Provo. I have worked professionally for 15 years with children, youth, and adults. I am versed in outpatient counseling, psychiatric inpatient care, crisis intervention, and residential treatment. I served on Salt Lake County’s crisis response team for 6 years. I enjoy working with individuals and couples to see my client’s lives enhanced and empowered. In my spare time I enjoy continuing to travel the world every chance I get. I have visited 40 States and 20 countries across 4 continents. I love diving into each country's culture and language and learning of their ways to experience life and what the world has to offer. I speak and use English, Spanish or Portuguese in my clinical practice as needed.
