About My Clients
My clients are often deep feelers who’ve learned to numb, overfunction, or perform wellness while feeling disconnected inside. Many are navigating trauma, shame, polyamory, anxiety, or identity shifts. Whether you’re healing after betrayal, exploring your sexuality, or craving emotional safety, therapy with me offers a space to slow down, feel more, and rebuild trust in yourself and your relationships.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy with advanced training in sex therapy, and a background in spirituality, mind-body studies, and decolonized healing from Columbia University. My work blends somatic, trauma-informed, and relational approaches to help clients move beyond insight into emotional and embodied safety. I draw from EFT, IFS, and mindfulness to support clients dealing with anxiety, trauma, intimacy challenges, and family-of-origin wounds. I specialize in sex therapy, attachment healing, monogamy and non-monogamy, and body-based trauma work. As a Southern, neurodivergent Black woman, I offer warmth, clarity, and care—helping you feel seen without needing to perform.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is a birthright and a form of resistance—especially for those of us told to shrink, survive, or silence our truth. I advocate for emotional justice, bodily autonomy, and the reclamation of pleasure as a spiritual right. I'm a proud supporter of Black Lives Matter, LGBTQIA+ rights, and decolonized, culturally responsive mental health. Raised in an interfaith family, I understand what it means to live at complex intersections of tradition, rebellion, reverence, and self-definition. I believe therapy should make space for all of you—not just the parts that fit.
