About My Clients
Most of the individuals and couples I work with are all experiencing some version of the same thing: unmet emotional and/or physical needs. Listen, not every couple goes through that wonderful honeymoon stage. Some couples love each other fiercely from the very beginning, but also fight each other with just as much fire. And those who did experience the magical honeymoon stage, can often finding themselves struggling to maintain it after life starts happening.
My Background and Approach
I help couples and individuals heal from relational distress. Whether that be reconnection with a partner, picking up the pieces after the difficult and painful ending of a relationship, or overcoming depression and anxiety. My work focuses on improving relationships. If you are coming to therapy hoping I will “fix” your partner or tell you that you are in the right, you will probably be disappointed. I truly believe the work lies within. I help my clients recognize the role they play in their current relationship dynamics in order to take the necessary steps toward achieving balance and creating the relationships they want. The ultimate goal for my clients is increased intimacy, connection, and security.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Love is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding human experiences available to us. We need love. We desire connection. And we absolutely THRIVE when our emotional and physical needs are being met. Relational work is not just for couples. We all have relationships with ourselves, our family, our friends. Lack of connection and community can affect all areas of our life deeply.
