About My Clients
I work best with teens and adults ready to move past anxiety, stress, and trauma. I specialize in helping women heal from toxic relationships, and navigate difficult life transitions. My ideal client is someone looking for more than just a listener; they want a partner in their healing, who values inclusion and equality. Whether you're a student or a busy professional, if you're ready to trade, constant overwhelmed for a sense of calm and clarity, we will be a great match.
My Background and Approach
I am committed to providing an affirming and inclusive environment with my clients across a wide range of emotional concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and general life transitions. I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely supportive for you. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, followed by a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling; both from the University of Central Florida. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and have been in practice for 15 years. I provide a supportive space for adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating emotional stressors - tailoring my approach to meet the diverse needs of all my clients, including specialized support for the unique challenges faced by artists, musicians, and athletes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel truly seen and respected for every part of who you are. As an LGBTQ+ ally, it is deeply important to me to provide an affirming space where individuals from all walks of life—especially those who have felt marginalized—can feel safe and included. My approach is rooted in cultural humility; I am a lifelong learner dedicated to understanding the unique experiences of my clients without judgment. I believe in equality not just as a concept, but as a practice in the therapy room, where we work as partners. Outside of the office, you’ll likely find me playing music on my guitar or piano, creating art, or getting some exercise, as I believe finding balance and joy is a vital part of the healing journey.
