About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is learning to exist and thrive in a world that at times does not embrace differences. It is someone who is facing the new challenges of being a first generation profesional or college student, immigrant, or in a mixed status family. As a 1.5 immigrant I understand the challenges that come from wanting to hold onto traditional values and also the pressure to conform. Therapy would provide a supportive space to explore these complexities.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, blending these modalities to create a personalized treatment plan for each individual. My number one priority is helping you feel safe, comfortable, and validated.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a minority in Texas I understand the challenges minorities face in this state. I believe that all humans are worthy of basic human rights. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community. I believe black lives matter. I believe that our differences are what make us human and we should embrace our uniqueness. I believe in creating a safe space for all clients.
