My Background and Approach
You will benefit from a diverse set of tools and training that I bring to your therapy to personalize your experience. In addition to a Master's in Counseling from Oakland University, I have advanced training in EMDR, brain spotting, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and counseling with adolescents. What does this mean to you? It means that we can do a lot more than talk about what is troubling you - we can work through it together in a safe place to face your fears. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Freedom is my goal - freedom for you to experience life and be yourself. The way you feel now does not have to last forever - healing is possible. We all experience our environment the way we saw modeled when we were very young, not realizing the connection. Many suffer unprocessed grief or trauma that cause problems in daily living. Others struggle with self-esteem, setting them up for failure. It is possible to break free - but time will not be the healer. It takes intention and guidance. We can work together toward your goals.
