About My Clients
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck under the weight of everyday life? Anxiety, grief, depression, or stress can make even simple tasks feel impossible. You don’t have to face it alone. In a compassionate, judgment-free space, I’ll meet you where you are, help you understand your feelings, teach practical tools to cope, and guide you toward self-compassion, resilience, and reconnecting with the version of yourself you’ve been longing to feel.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Master of Social Work (MSW) therapist with experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and identity-related challenges. Over my training and practice, I’ve developed practical, evidence-based tools—from DBT and CBT strategies to behavioral activation techniques—that clients can carry with them and use anytime, anywhere. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally equipped, and confident in managing life’s challenges. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your mind and body in the moment and build strategies to respond with calm, clarity, and self-compassion. I approach therapy collaboratively, meeting you where you are and helping you develop sustainable skills that last long after our sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and reclaim their life at any stage. Mental health challenges are often learned responses to difficult experiences—but they can also be unlearned and replaced with healthier patterns. As a Black woman and MSW therapist, I show up with cultural humility, compassion, and awareness of how systemic, generational, and community experiences shape our emotional lives. I’ve navigated grief, stress, and anxiety myself, and I want to help you feel empowered to navigate yours. I stand for equity, inclusion, and social justice, and I actively support movements that uplift marginalized communities. Therapy with me is a judgment-free, authentic space where you can reconnect with yourself and build lasting tools for resilience and self-compassion.
