I love teens! But I also treat couples using the Gottman method of couples therapy, and individuals utilizing relational and IFS informed practices.
My Background and Approach
I am a 46 year old mother of four teenagers who has been married for 23 years. I have a Master's in Counseling from St. Mary's College of CA and did my practicum training at UC Berkeley in the Counseling and Psychological Services department as well at Acalanes Unified High School District. I have a wealth of personal and compassionate experience to extend to my clients. The theories and tools I utilize are designed to increase awareness, heal wounds, and provide a path to lasting change in behavior. I want to help you design the life you want and know you can achieve.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in that humans are intrinsically built to heal when put into the right circumstances. When people encounter trust, understanding, and compassion in a therapeutic setting they often begin to heal and even thrive.
