My Background and Approach
I am committed to helping others overcome the pain and difficulty they are experiencing and helping them reach their goals. By promoting mindfulness, change, & positive behaviors you can reach personal well-being. In our sessions we will work towards relieving your situation and recognizing your strengths. I have 13 years of experience in helping clients find ways to cope with stressors, evaluating & changing thought patterns, challenging thoughts that inhibit your growth, improving communication, developing a greater sense of awareness, & developing a positive sense of self. I specialize in stress management, anxiety, postpartum, couples, and self-esteem. I received my Master's degree from Barry University. Additionally, I have a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, & am also certified in trauma, postpartum, & the Prepare/Enrich program. I utilize approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy.
