About My Clients
My clients are stressed out women and moms. I am passionate about teaching moms to care for themselves and to put their mental health first through mindfulness skills and self compassion. I provide telehealth counseling to adult women and moms age 18 and above who struggle with: postpartum depression and anxiety, infertility struggles, birth trauma, complex developmental trauma, family systems trauma.
My Background and Approach
I combine EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness Based, Integrative Approach, Strengths Based modalities. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Social Work-Rutgers the State University of New Jersey, advanced training in PMADs from Karen Kleiman at the Postpartum Stress Center and Postpartum Support International. I hold EMDR Certification from EMDRIA International. I am licensed in New Jersey to provide supervision to clinicians seeking advanced clinical licensure. Additionally, I also conduct numerous groups and workshops, public speaking events on the topic of perinatal mental health and women's trauma and loss.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a trauma-informed, person-in-environment approach. All behavior is adaptive and mental health symptoms are a product of your social environment, family systems, institutional systems and cultural context.
