I work hard to provide an environment that is accepting and supportive and simultaneously looks for ways that increase growth and healing. My approach emphasizes skill-building, self-knowledge, and balance. I have been a therapist in a variety of settings for about 20 years, helping people deal with anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma in their lives and helping them understand how it has affected their relationships. Because I speak conversational Spanish, I have had a lot of experience with bilingual families.
My experience has included working with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, relationship conflict, trauma, and other issues that accompany adolescence and adulthood.
