About My Clients
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career struggles, poor relationship with food? All of these things and more ones that each of struggle with at times in our life. It is important to make sure we are equipped with the tools and skills needed to better handle the stressors that life throws at us. My Background and Approach
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Child and Family Studies and moved on to Louisiana State University and obtained my Masters degree in Social Work. Currently, I am currently working toward pursuing an additional Masters degree in Business Administration through Southern University also located in Louisiana. Throughout my professional career I have worked with a wide variety of ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; with my personal "sweet spot" being adults 18 and up. My specialties include concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and women's issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to improve their current situation. I tell my clients, therapy is not a "magic pill" that you take once and everything is all better, it is a journey but a journey that is well worth it. It takes hard work, it takes stepping out of your comfort zone, but the risk is always worth the reward. I am also a believer in food being medicine and will encourage you to incorporate more plant based foods (if applicable) to improve your emotional and mental health.
