Accepting Clients

Hi, I'm Jane and I specialize in supporting birthing parents and couples through preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC

About My Clients

My clients are thoughtful, caring individuals and couples navigating profound transitions. Some are trying to conceive and carrying the stress, grief, or uncertainty that can accompany fertility challenges. Some are pregnant and noticing anxiety, mood shifts, or fears about what’s ahead. Others are newly postpartum and feeling overwhelmed, isolated, touched out, or unlike themselves.

My Background and Approach

The tools I offer are ones I’ve refined throughout my career supporting birthing parents and couples navigating preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My goal is for you to leave our work together with practical, personalized tools you can carry with you every day — strategies that help you regulate your nervous system, manage stress, communicate more effectively, and feel more confident in your role as both a parent and an individual. My hope is that you walk away with a deeper sense of steadiness — equipped with tools, insight, and self-trust. So no matter where you are in your parenting or fertility journey, you’ll have strategies you can use in real time to feel more empowered, resilient, and aligned with the parent and person you want to be.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that growth and change are always possible — especially during seasons that feel overwhelming or identity-shifting. Becoming a parent (or trying to become one) can bring up parts of you that you didn’t expect. It can surface old patterns, self-doubt, anxiety, perfectionism, or feelings of not being “enough.” I don’t see these responses as flaws. I see them as learned patterns — ways you adapted and coped along the way. And what’s been learned can be reshaped. My work is grounded in the belief that parents are far more capable than they often give themselves credit for. Sometimes, what’s needed most is validation, support, and practical tools to reconnect with your own strength. I help clients unlearn the narratives that say they’re failing and replace them with skills, self-trust, and confidence in their ability to navigate this new identity. As a mother myself, I understand how tender and transformative this chapter can be.
