About My Clients
I love working with people who have lived through trauma and are willing to work through it as an adult. Trauma affects almost every aspect of your mental and physical health and shows up as depression/anxiety as well as physical symptoms. I love watching people take back their lives and begin to thrive in the world.
My Background and Approach
I am currently starting online support groups for dealing with these turbulent times. The next one begins October 27th and runs for 8 Tuesday afternoons, 2-4pm. We will provide a place to share and some neuroscience based tools for coping with the stress. Total cost is $200. Contact me through this website to find out more. All of my sessions are currently online or by phone. I use a variety of techniques including; Somatic Transformation, voice dialog, CBT, family of origin work, pre-and Peri-natal work. We will work together to find what works for you. We are all a combination of all the ages and experiences we have had thus far. I have many years of working with children and parents and use that knowledge to help parents and also to help you parent your inner child or to become a better parent.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in everyone's ability to heal and that everyone has a different path towards that healing. My job as a therapist is to help you find yours and to guide you along it toward better physical and mental health. I believe all people are capable and good at heart and because of that do not discriminate against anyone because of who they are. I'd love to help you thrive.
