About My Clients
Are you a young adult feeling anxious about the future? Are you worried about academics, high school graduation, college, work, or career goals, relationships, or life in general? Are you feeling pressured to "be the best" or "make the right choice for the future?" All of these questions may feel overwhelming, and understandably, lead to anxiety. You may have racing thoughts that don't stop, your heart may beat too fast, you find it hard to concentrate or focus- which leads to even more anxiety.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, and informal. I listen and validate what you're going through. You are not alone. I provide evidence-based CBT skills to decrease physical anxiety symptoms and help you regain control when anxiety and stress makes you feel like you have lost it. We then work together to take practical steps towards your personal goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was born and raised in Northern Virginia. As I continue to live in the area with my husband and baby girl, I understand the unique stressors that come along with that: From high-pressure high schools and college applications, to parents juggling high-stakes careers and family... I get it. I enjoy helping people find balance in the "rat race." In my free time, I enjoy exploring Washington, DC. and the DMV area, spending time with friends and family, and donating my time to local animal rescues when I can.
