About My Clients
Do you find yourself worrying about the past or future? Or wish you could show up more authentically in life and your relationships? Or are you grieving some loss, whether it's a person, a job, or a different idea of what you thought your life would be? We can work together to understand what you have been experiencing, strategize on how to manage symptoms, and set goals.
My Background and Approach
I use a collaborative and integrative approach that includes education and skill building so clients can apply what they learn in session to their everyday life. I work with clients on destigmatizing their symptoms and promoting overall wellness. We work together to understand where some of their unhelpful patterns arose from.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that systemic forces—such as racism, sexism, transphobia, and other types of oppression— impact mental health. We can work together to figure out where there is room for advocacy. As a therapist, I believe that true healing starts by making space for how things actually are. Life doesn’t have to be sunshine and rainbows all the time. It’s okay to feel sad, angry, and uncertain. I am involved with The Dinner Party, an organization that builds community around grief and loss.
