About My Clients
Many of my clients are looking for a therapist who gets it. Who is authentic and genuine with their response and not a textbook “so tell me how you feel about that” answer. I support my clients as they learn to communicate their needs, uphold their boundaries, effectively manage conflicts, and find strategies that actually help their anxiety/depression. Many of my clients are working on building trust, self-compassion, and a sense of emotional stability that remains consistent.
My Background and Approach
I have a BA in Psychology, M. Ed. in Counseling and Human Development, & taught HS English for two years. Spent my graduate internship at a PHP/IOP facility for teens and adults experiencing more acute symptoms such as suicidal ideations, self-harm, mood/personality disorders, and/or addiction. I specialize in relational dynamics, helping us understand how the systems (family, friends, work, etc) we are apart of impact us. This allows us to figure out IDEAL ways to support YOU. Each one of my clients are unique in their own way and deserve care that best fits THEM!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a wife and mom x3 I GET the daily struggles that feel defeating. I try to get to the point with things and not include a bunch of big language fluff. I currently have 8:30 evening sessions for individuals or couples!
