About My Clients
If you have ended a wanted pregnancy (also known as termination for medical reasons or TFMR), you are a loving parent deserving of compassion, healing, & community. Whether due to your own health &/or the health of your baby/ies, yours is a complex & unique situation ending in the devastating loss of a much loved baby & desired future. TFMR parents often feel similar grief, pain & silencing that other loss parents do, as well as additional layers of shame, fear, & judgment.
My Background and Approach
You do NOT have to go through this alone. The combination of my clinical training & my personal experience of TFMR means I am uniquely well-suited to support you through the unique barriers & grief of TFMR, particularly in Texas where such care is no longer accessible. I'm passionate about building community, eliminating shame, & honoring grief for TFMR families. Our work together can provide a dedicated time & place to authentically share your experience without the fear of burdening those closest to you, to express & process your grief, & to redefine your identity, priorities, & relationships post-loss. You will learn & practice strategies for managing triggers & calming your mind & body when feeling overwhelmed. And over time, we will address together the ways your grief shows up in different stages of your life moving forward, such as as trying to conceive, choosing to no longer try to conceive, infertility, pregnancy, &/or parenting after loss.
