About My Clients
I work with adults navigating life's challenges and transitions, including those experiencing anxiety and depression. Together, we'll build insight into your struggles and greater resilience.
My Background and Approach
I have a Master's degree in Social Work and spent a decade working in more traditional social work with diverse populations which gives me a broad level of experience in many different settings including psychiatric hospitals, recovery treatment facilities, child welfare and healthcare. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 2021. I use a holistic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral therapy, mindfulness and insight oriented techniques. My approach is affirming, strengths based and tailored to your unique needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the fundamental dignity, autonomy and rights of all people. My advocacy is rooted in the fight against systemic oppression- both in the U.S. and globally because true justice knows no borders. I stand for bodily autonomy, the right of individuals to make decisions about their own bodies without interference, and the dismantling of structures that perpetuate inequality, discrimination and harm. Whether it's addressing racial injustice, economic disparities, gender equity or global human rights violations, I believe in amplifying marginalized voices and challenging the status quo. Change begins with awareness, but it flourishes through action. I am committed to helping create a world where equity, liberation and compassion guide the way forward.
