About My Clients
Many of my clients appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in self-doubt, or exhausted from constantly caring for others. I work best with adults who are ready to create healthier relationships, strengthen self-worth, navigate life transitions, manage anxiety, and reconnect with themselves. My clients are often helpers, professionals, caregivers, and high achievers seeking greater balance, confidence, authenticity, and fulfillment.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns. My background includes clinical work, community outreach, leadership, teaching, and program development with diverse populations. My approach is collaborative, practical, and holistic. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating mindfulness, expressive arts, self-compassion, psychoeducation, and mind-body practices when appropriate. Together, we identify patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen self-trust, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change aligned with your values. Clients often describe me as warm, humorous, authentic, and encouraging. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel seen, challenged, and empowered to build a more balanced, confident, and fulfilling life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when people are given space to show up authentically and be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I value connection, personal growth, community engagement, creativity, and lifelong learning. Throughout my career, I have taught relationship skills, healthy communication, emotional wellness, and resilience in schools, correctional settings, community organizations, and therapeutic environments. I am passionate about helping people build stronger relationships with themselves and others. Outside of therapy, I enjoy yoga, TV/Movies, expressive arts, travel, being, and spending time with humans. As someone who appreciates the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being, I believe lasting change is often supported through both insight and intentional daily practices. My work is grounded in inclusivity, respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences, and a genuine belief in each person's capacity for growth and transformation.
