About My Clients

I work with individuals of all ages, but have expertise in supporting adolescents and young adults. I specialize in mood and anxiety struggles, complex trauma histories, identity shifts and development, disordered eating and body image, substance use/abuse, self-harm and suicidality, supporting LGBTQAI+ adolescents/young adults, and those with neurodivergent minds (i.e., attention differences (ADHD) and adolescents on the spectrum (ASD)).

My Background and Approach

My goal as a therapist is to offer a compassionate, collaborative and accessible space to help make talking about mental health feel welcoming and easy.  I believe that each person is the expert of their own experience and agent of their own growth, and I help to equip my clients with coping skills needed to make your present moment more tolerable and to be active participants in your own healing process.  My approach pulls from several modalities that center you as an individual and your intersecting identities, with a grounding in mindfulness, harm reduction and trauma-informed praxis to meet you exactly where you are.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am especially passionate about destigmatizing mental health support, supporting LGBTQAI+ adolescents/young adults, celebrating neurodivergent minds and, now more than ever, supporting young people in this especially challenging time navigating mental health struggles concurrent with the pandemic.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
