About My Clients
I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions using CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy to build practical tools for lasting change. CBT helps you become more aware of the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, giving you practical tools to respond rather than react. ACT helps you respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with greater flexibility, allowing you to live according to your values.
My Background and Approach
When working with me, you can expect a warm, direct, and collaborative approach. During intake, I take time to understand your story, current challenges, strengths, and goals. Together, we identify patterns, develop practical strategies, and create a plan tailored to your needs. Progress often looks like increased self-awareness, healthier boundaries, improved coping skills, greater emotional regulation, and confidence in making decisions aligned with your values. I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, trauma, and personal growth. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients feel understood, equipped to create lasting change and maybe a laugh or two.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My path to becoming a mental health provider has been shaped by both personal growth and a passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. Along the way, I've been a high school teacher, fitness coach, mental health case manager, outpatient therapist, business owner—and I'm a mom of four boys, so I've become highly skilled at conflict resolution, negotiation, and finding missing shoes. Those experiences have given me a unique perspective on the emotional, relational, and practical challenges people face. Combined with nearly 15 years of clinical experience, they help me meet clients where they are, offer fresh perspectives, and uncover the strengths and solutions they already have within them.
