About My Clients
If you seek to understand yourself and your relationships to people and systems around you, to grow and heal, and to explore being human, I would love to share this experience with you.
My Background and Approach
Welcome! I work with individuals, couples, & families struggling with individual/generational trauma, sex/intimacy, relational conflict, adoption/fostering, neurodivergence, multiracial couples/families, LGBTQIA+, and intersecting identity development to explore how these parts impact relationships we build with others. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and integrate therapy models including Attachment-based, Experiential, Emotion-focused, Contextual, ESFT, and was trained in Person of the Therapist under founder Dr. Harry Aponte. I'm highly collaborative and seek to make a space that feels safe and liberating.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a relational and systemic therapist that believes healing doesn't happen alone, it happens in relation to one another and the systems in which we are a part of. It is something we need to co-create with others; Community, friends, family, coworkers, therapists, the stranger we hold the door for, and on and on. I currently practice therapy in non-profit and private practice spaces, offering sliding scale services to support equitable mental health care. In addition to therapeutic work I'm also a yoga teacher with a non-profit called Yoga 4 Philly.
