About My Clients
I work with people navigating eating disorders and body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood and personality concerns, chronic illness, and life transitions. I see children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults, along with couples and parents. Many of the people I support want care that fits a full life, so every session is virtual and available across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed professional counselor and clinical art therapist with more than 17 years of clinical experience in the Washington, D.C. area. I founded Juniper Blu Collective to support people living with eating disorders and self-harming behaviors, and it has grown into a team-based telehealth practice for a wide range of mental and behavioral health needs. My credentials include LCPC, LPC, LCPAT, and ATR-BC, and I am a Certified Dialectical Behavior Professional. I hold certification as an Eating Disorder and Body Image Specialist and advanced DBT training. My work draws on psychodynamic psychotherapy, art therapy, and evidence-based methods including DBT and CBT, along with attachment-based, mindfulness-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. What this means for you: care grounded in named training, delivered virtually so it fits your schedule, with collaborative support from dietitians and psychiatrists when your care calls for it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should meet people where they are, without judgment. My care is neurodivergence-affirming and person-first, and I work collaboratively with you and, when it helps, with the other providers on your care team.
