Where you look affects how you feel- Sometimes traditional therapy is not enough. The body and brain stores trauma, both physical and emotional, and colors the lens with which we view the world. Triggers, responses, panic, anger and sadness all play a part in how we operate in the world. Through accessing your visual field, we locate brainspots and process the emotional response. Play therapy is a powerful tool to help kids learn how to label and express their feelings in a positive and productive way. Combining parent training and pro social skill building in your child can help the family system overcome behavior challenges and improve communication.
