About My Clients
I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings. This includes; addiction, child protection involvement, abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, societal issues, system conflicts, identity, racism, and other life stressors. I work from a holistic, cultural, and strength-based approach. I have the fundamental belief that clients are the experts of their own lives and I am passionate about working with multicultural and marginalized populations.

I am transparent and believe in collaboration with clients. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches focusing on the uniqueness of each individual or family. I am trained in DBT and NET. I am certified in EMDR. I will collaborate with you to identify therapeutic goals to address your concerns and improve your overall quality of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value the importance of an inclusive and equitable environment. I uphold my social work ethics and truly believe in the betterment of community through healing. My core values include; equity, trust, and community. Throughout my personal and professional life I have seen the impact of unaddressed mental health concerns. I have also observed the impact on mental health in relation to inequities and systematic barriers. I believe there is opportunity for everyone to grow and change in a healthy capacity. I hold this quote of Maya Angelou close to my heart "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty."
