About My Clients
Clients that feel like I am a good fit for them are people who have a desire to form stronger bonds and connections but also feel conflicted because they find it hard to trust people and sometimes even themselves. They innately have the feeling that something in their lives just isn’t working for them anymore and may even struggle with chronic self-abandonment. They might find themselves avidly searching for new strategies on how to to fix these problems they might not yet be able to name.
My Background and Approach
I’m a holistic social worker with a contemporary approach. I blend elements of somatic practice and attachment work to help aid in the transformation of trauma, shame, and other relational challenges. I help my clients integrate their emotions, minds, and bodies so they can find inner peace and finally feel at home. The cornerstone of my work is derived from helping individuals build relationships with all parts of themselves. We’ll work together to create a safe space where your needs come first. I’ll offer concrete tools and exercises that will support the specific areas of your life you would like to work on. We’ll work at your speed and on the issues that matter most to you. Being proud of my own neurodivergence, queerness, and survivorhood helps me to identify in solidarity with my clients through lived experience while simultaneously bringing evidence-based practices into the therapeutic space we will create together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There are two incredibly important beliefs I have about therapy: 1. Regardless of your life experiences, all human beings have the innate capacity to heal. -AND- 2. You are in control of and the expert of your own life and lived experiences.
