As a therapist, my goal is to create an atmosphere that is safe for you to be able to freely explore difficult thoughts and feelings. I strive to provide a comfortable and judgement-free environment that promotes healing while actively engaged and providing empathy. I have experience in Individual Counseling, Groups, Families, Couples, Children/Adolescents, and Geriatric populations. I believe the connection between therapist and client is fundamental in eliciting growth and change. Therapy gives each person an opportunity to enhance their overall well-being to live the life they want to live. The mind-body connection is a key component in preserving happiness. Feeling like no one understands you can be devastating, and disclosing uncomfortable feelings to a complete stranger is far from easy. From my perspective, it takes a tremendous amount of strength to reach out for help when feelings of hopeless seem to take over.
