My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is an eclectic combination of multiple theoretical approaches that provide therapy based on the idea that "one-size" does not fit all. I utilize techniques from 20 plus years of experience, certification trainings, research, and study from several theoretical approaches that include: CBT, DBT, CPT, Mindfulness - MBCT, ACT, SFBT, AEDP, and a host of other proven effective techniques to help my clients heal, and gain insights and skills to live at their highest potential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all healing is self-healing and the proper guidance is necessary when feeling stuck or unable to navigate the healing process. It is imperative when starting therapy to build mutual trust and rapport through a genuine authentic connection for the therapeutic process to work. Throughout my own life journey of healing, I've discovered that mental health issues are due to being out of alignment with our authentic "whole" healthy self. Therapy helps to peal away and discard all the negative mental programming or thoughts / beliefs acquired through social conditioning. I am confident that, no matter what you are struggling with in your life today, I can guide you back to your most healthy optimal functioning self.
