About My Clients
Are you struggling with a new relationship? New job? Maybe past experiences are starting to impact how you feel day to day? When anxiety, depression, or trauma show up, it can make moving forward feel confusing or even impossible. My name is James, and I’m a counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and adults who are processing trauma, anxiety, and major changes in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I believe that everyone has a true self—mindful, compassionate, and capable of growth—beyond your core beliefs and what your past has taught you. I encourage clients to understand their thoughts and feelings, giving them awareness and compassion to help them heal and be their authentic selves. I incorporate CBT and IFS to help clients through this process. I also incorporate Brainspotting to help clients process trauma, and LENS Neurofeedback to help clients self-regulate.
