I believe that counseling IS for everyone. Each of us have experienced struggles, pain, disappointments, or unmet expectations that benefit from being explored with intentionality and confidence. Therapy provides a safe space for people to confront life and work toward becoming the best, thriving versions of themselves. Counseling isn't a promise of fixing life's problems, but it will equip you with the skills and tools you need to navigate your struggles, regardless of your background.
My Background and Approach
My career has rewarded me with clinical experience working with youth and families families from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, including a successful history working with teenagers and young adults who have endured trauma, experience anxiety or depression, or are struggling to adjust to a life-changing event. I have experience working with individuals who suffer from chronic mental health disorders (schizophrenia, bipolar, major depressive disorder), as well as brief pains of adjustment or anxiety. I'm skilled at wading into real life pain and struggles including conflict patterns, anger and irritability, bereavement, self-doubt, fear and insecurity, and suicidal thinking.
