About My Clients
I work closely with clients who identify as LGBTQ, Kink/BDSM, ethically non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships, psychedelic integration, and clients who are spiritually open. I offer clinical supervision to LSWs seeking clinical licensure in NJ. I provide workshops and continuing education programs on a variety of topics.
My Background and Approach
A session with me will offer plenty of feedback, emotional/brain/nervous system education rooted in science, common sense techniques, sometimes homework, and a dash of humor. I have 10 years of experience supporting clients to make their lives and relationships work in whatever feels most authentic and true. I am here to witness your journey towards personal empowerment. I believe that therapy is about encouraging you to discover your inner wisdom, higher truth, solid voice, your own North Star. Depending on your need, I offer a range of techniques from concrete and goal-based, to the more esoteric and spiritual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a gay, polyamorous man, raised Irish Catholic (and all that comes with it), and have studied several spiritual traditions including a Shamanic apprenticeship. I have a background working in academia as a professor and published researcher, and am also involved with the performing arts. I have worked with plant medicines in Peru and understand the importance of healing integration work.
