About My Clients
I work with people navigating serious mental illness, grief, family conflict, and systemic barriers, especially those from marginalized and oppressed communities. If you're tired of feeling like the systems we live in are not constructed for you, you're welcome here. I center your lived experience, identity, and strengths, and I help connect you and your caregivers to clinical, legal, and community resources.
My Background and Approach
My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and rooted in community mental health work with marginalized and oppressed populations. I have experience supporting people through serious mental illness, grief, suicidality, family conflict, and systemic barriers. I connect clients, peers, and caregivers to a wide network of clinical, legal, and community resources. I center your lived experience, identity, and strengths while addressing both the individual and systemic factors shaping your mental health. I'm aware that healing is not neutral, so I approach this work as an anti-racist, social justice-informed clinician and draw on decolonizing principles. For you, that means care that doesn't pathologize your identity or ask you to leave parts of yourself at the door.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an outspoken queer writer and an intersectional abolitionist. I'm aware of my queer and privileged identity, and I acknowledge that the healing process is never neutral. My work is guided by a commitment to decolonizing healing and seeking the second meaning behind our condition. I aim to build a radical space for therapeutic transformation. Rather than "selling" my experience, I gently invite you to explore this space: come as you are and build liberation at your own pace, on your own terms.
