About My Clients
F10 has two focused care lanes. For children and adolescents ages 6–17, I evaluate and manage ADHD, OCD, and anxiety; a parent or legal guardian starts the request, and the young person participates directly. For adults, I focus on high-functioning ADHD—especially the gap between capability and consistent execution—along with related anxiety, OCD, and executive-function concerns. Care is delivered by telehealth across California.
My Background and Approach
I am James Darden, PMHNP-BC and AG-ACNP-BC, Yale and Johns Hopkins trained. Before founding F10, I spent three years working in child and adolescent psychiatry. I provide individual psychiatric evaluation, careful medication management, and cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, and ADHD—not family therapy or formal neuropsychological or autism testing. Initial evaluations are 60 minutes, and treatment plans are built directly with me. Prescribing is conservative; the goal is a clear diagnosis, a practical plan, and medication only when it earns its place.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
F10 is LGBTQIA+ affirming. Identity is treated as context, not pathology. I respect how patients and families describe themselves, work directly, and keep treatment focused on the reasons they sought care.
