My Background and Approach
My lived experiences inform my specializations and overall approach to therapy. My approach to treatment is Trauma-Informed, Person-Centered and Strengths-Based. I also use evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT and more, when appropriate and based on your unique needs and wants. I find that enduring traumatic experiences, different kinds of loss, crippling anxiety and chronic stress can have a significant impact on our relationship with ourselves, as well as our relationships with others. I specialize in helping over-thinkers understand their anxiety and cope with excessive worry, anxiety attacks and chronic stress. I specialize in helping individuals navigate complicated grief after suffering a sudden, unexpected loss. I also specialize in helping couples heal emotional wounds and repair broken trust after betrayal.
