About My Clients

I work with adults and teenagers to identify meaningful goals and develop skills to achieve them. Many of my clients clients are empathetic but may struggle with self-criticism, anxiety, or feelings of low confidence when facing challenges. Together, we accept difficult realities and focus on what can be changed, building new strategies for growth. This process helps clients gain clarity and create healthier, more effective patterns for living.

My Background and Approach

With training in contextual behavioral therapies, I use evidence-based approaches to help clients navigate both acceptance and change. My approach is warm, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental. I aim to balance empathetic validation with accountability, helping you move toward your values and goals. While the work can be challenging, it’s also not uncommon for clients and I to share a laugh—even in difficult times, as we’re all navigating the complexities of being human. I specialize in helping clients build skills in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal communication, and mindfulness. Together, we’ll explore how underlying biosocial patterns might be holding you back from reaching your full potential. From there, we’ll identify practical strategies and tools to help you cope with challenges, overcome obstacles, and achieve your goals. I integrate techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Existential Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we're all interconnected and worthy of inherent dignity and respect. Yet, our environments can obstruct and inhibit our ability to realize our values and goals. We each deserve a sense of belonging and the opportunity to generate and construct meaningful lives. I engage in regular meditation practice and have interests in neuroscience, philosophy, and music.
