About My Clients
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and autism. I support teens and adults, offering a compassionate space to explore challenges and build the skills needed for growth. I’m committed to understanding each person’s unique needs, helping them develop self-compassion, and creating lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Services in 2006 and have been practicing as a counselor ever since. I transitioned into private practice to focus on my areas of expertise and provide a more personalized approach to care. In therapy, I use an integrative approach, combining top-down methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with bottom-up somatic-informed approaches to address the whole person by working with both the mind and body. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that draws on your strengths and fits your unique needs and goals. My goal is to help you develop self-compassion, recognizing that whatever you’re struggling with makes sense based on your past experiences. Every unhelpful habit or coping mechanism developed for a reason, and through this understanding, we’ll work toward healing. Contact me to begin this journey and take the first step toward change.
