About My Clients
Are you a young adult figuring out who you are and what you want from life and relationships? An LGBTQ+ couple seeking deeper intimacy or struggling with mismatched desire? Some of my clients are thirty-, forty-, or fifty-somethings navigating transitions—career shifts, breakups, new commitments, or questions of purpose. Others come to therapy feeling disconnected and creatively drained.
My Background and Approach
I’m a collaborative therapist who works from a systemic lens, meaning I see each client and relationship in context. We don't become who we are in a vacuum! Therapy with me is conversational and client-led (you're the only expert on you). I mix and match ideas and techniques from a few different modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Collaborative Language Systems, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Feminist Theory. Whether I'm seeing a couple or an individual, we will likely explore core values, language and communication, and the stories we believe about ourselves and the world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is capable of growth and change, no matter how stuck they feel. Healing and sustainable change happens through connection with our inner selves and others. I’ve experience periods of deep hopelessness and grief. Reconnecting with myself, reaching out for support, and leaning into community have been my lifeline. Your ways of finding community and feeling connected might look different than mine, and I will help you find what works for you! I’m a bisexual woman, dancer, and writer. As a queer therapist, I practice from a place of cultural humility. My goal is to honor each person’s unique story and always listen to, learn from, and lift up marginalized voices.
