My primary therapeutic treatment modality is EMDR, which has been found to be the most effective treatment for trauma. I have been using EMDR in my therapy sessions for a couple years now and have witnessed life-changing results. This modality is also highly effective via Telehealth or in online therapy. Rather than traditional CBT models, the majority of the healing takes place inside of the therapy session with minimal work to do outside of the session.

1 in 3 people will struggle with diagnosable anxiety in their lifetime, however they do not need to continue feeling out of control. I am trained in CBT (Beck Institute) and have experience with treating anxiety and depression with this modality. CBT is incredibly helpful in helping clients understand and observe how their thoughts impact their feelings and behaviors. Clients can expect to experience relief from their symptoms by making small changes in their thoughts and behaviors everyday.

Depression can feel like you are wearing glasses that have been painted over with black paint and everything (yourself, others and the world) starts to look dark, gloomy and hopeless. CBT and EMDR can help. I am here to help discover whether your depression is rooted in trauma or irrational and unhelpful thoughts (or both). Whether we use CBT, EMDR, mindfulness or all of the above, I am here and ready to help you scratch and peel that black paint off.

Mindfulness and mindfulness based strategies have been used for over 2500 years to help reduce symptoms, create inner peace and promote clarity and positivity. I include mindfulness based practices in my sessions to encourage self-awareness and emotional regulation.

I have been trained in CBT by the Beck Institute and have been using CBT as a primary modality for 5+ years to help with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, panic, etc.

I have been trained in EMDR by an EMDRIA certified trainer and have been using EMDR as a primary modality for 3+ years. I have also experienced EMDR in my own personal therapy and have found it to have short and long-lasting results. It targets the root cause of surface level symptoms and allows the mind and body to heal itself naturally.
