About My Clients
I help children, teens, and young adults manage anxiety, identity struggles, and overwhelming emotions. Whether it’s big feelings, cultural pressure, or feeling stuck between who you are and who others expect you to be—I create a space to explore it all. As a first-gen therapist, I get how heavy it can feel. Using play therapy, EMDR techniques, and trauma-informed care, I support clients in building coping skills, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed masters social worker with experience supporting children, teens, and young adults through trauma, anxiety, and identity struggles. I’ve worked in immigration shelters, inpatient hospitals, schools, and with survivors of abuse. Now in private practice, I’m EMDR trained (working toward certification) and becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I’m trained in DBT and CBT and always learning to better serve my clients. My approach is client-centered—I’ll listen, and together we’ll explore what works best for you. Whether that’s using EMDR to gently process trauma or play-based approaches to help younger clients express emotions, we’ll move at your pace. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and empowered in your healing.
