Jadyn is passionate about supporting people from diverse communities who may find challenges in exploring their identity, navigating life transitions, understanding anxiety and/or depression, and more. She works with all ages and welcomes people from all walks of life.
My Background and Approach
Jadyn is a Counselor Trainee (CT) currently completing her graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Dayton. Jadyn is an African American and Cambodian American woman who values being a safe space for individuals of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. She is passionate about supporting people from diverse communities who may find challenges in exploring their identity, navigating life transitions, understanding anxiety and/or depression, and more. Her approach to therapy is holistic with unconditional positive regard. Jadyn understands how challenging it can be to navigate the hardships of life, and wants to meet you where you are. Her therapeutic approach integrates techniques to promote wellness within the entire person. To do that, she incorporates techniques from a variety of approaches to fit the needs of the individual. As a clinician, she wants to help you discover your strengths and be able to take an active role in change in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Jadyn believes that everyone deserves to be supported. People of all race, gender, religion and other backgrounds are welcomed to join the counseling experience. She takes pride in being a safe space for those of marginalized communities.
