About My Clients
Maybe you're trying to figure out who you are, build confidence, improve your relationships, or navigate a difficult season of life. You may be a parent wanting to better understand or connect with your child, a teen finding your way, or someone who feels stuck and is ready for something to change. I enjoy helping clients explore what has shaped them, better understand themselves and their patterns, and work toward meaningful growth and stronger relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Raschunda Aubrey, M.A., LPC-S. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, and I welcome clients across different stages of life who are navigating concerns such as self-esteem, relationships, attachment, parenting, stress, and personal growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the individual rather than one-size-fits-all. I draw from person-centered, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, mindfulness, and multicultural approaches. Together, we may explore patterns and experiences, develop practical coping and communication skills, identify strengths, and find strategies that fit you and the changes you want to make.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe growth starts with understanding—not judging—where we are and what helped shape us. Our families, relationships, culture, experiences, beliefs, successes, and mistakes can all become part of our story without having to determine the rest of it. I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, humor, and giving people room to be fully human. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am, and I am happy to incorporate faith into counseling when that is meaningful to a client. I also respect that each person's beliefs and values are their own, and you do not need to share mine to be welcomed, respected, or supported in our work together.
