About My Clients

Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about their direction in life. I work with adults navigating identity questions, life transitions such as new parenthood, perimenopause, career changes, and caring for aging parents. I also support people processing grief, pregnancy or child loss, chronic illness, and the impact of growing up in complex families. Together we explore deeper patterns and develop greater clarity, resilience, and meaning.

My Background and Approach

I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and an M.A. in Applied Theater from the University of Southern California. I completed my clinical training at The Maple Counseling Center and pursued additional study in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy through the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than twenty years working as an interdisciplinary artist, performer, and theater educator. This creative background shapes my approach to therapy. My work draws from psychodynamic and Jungian traditions, exploring how unconscious patterns, dreams, and early experiences influence our lives. I integrate approaches such as inner child work, parts work, shadow work, and active imagination to deepen self-understanding. Therapy with me is collaborative, curious, and flexible. Together we explore old patterns, access imagination and insight, and move toward greater wholeness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe human beings are meaning-seeking and meaning-creating. When life loses its sense of meaning, we often experience anxiety, grief, or confusion. Rather than trying to eliminate all suffering, therapy can help us move through it toward greater awareness and wholeness. Growth requires curiosity and the courage to look inward. When we begin to understand the deeper patterns shaping our lives, we gain the freedom to respond differently. Personal responsibility and reflection allow us to transform painful experiences into sources of insight and strength. I believe therapy should be creative and responsive to each person. Every individual carries a unique story and inner world. By exploring dreams, emotions, memories, and symbols, therapy can reconnect us with parts of ourselves that have been forgotten or silenced. Therapy is ultimately a process of becoming more fully who you are.
